If you’re a frozen yogurt lover like me, you’ve probably tried and loved Yasso Frozen Greek Yogurt. The brand, once only available in pops, sandwiches and bites, is now expanding – and I couldn’t be more excited about the launch.
From today Yasso brings Spoonabletheir famous frozen yogurt in pint form, in the freezer section. The new dessert is available at Target locations nationwide and features five of their most popular flavors: Mint Chocolate Chip, Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Fudge Brownie, Cookies and Cream and Coffee Chocolate Chip.
Each of these new frozen dessert options contains at least 7 grams of protein per serving, making them a sweet yet filling option to replace your nightcap. Plus, they range between 140 and 160 calories per serving, making it a lower calorie choice that can easily fit into a diet routine.
I was lucky enough to try out some of these products early on and as a cookie and cream fan, this flavor was my absolute favorite. Light, velvety and not stingy on the pieces, I really had to stop myself from finishing the pint in one gulp. And if you’re a chocolate lover, the fudge brownie is also worth a mention.
It’s important to note that each of these flavors has a relatively high amount of added sugar, at 13 to 16 grams per serving. But at FoodGoodWe firmly believe that all foods, including creamy and delicious desserts, can be included in a healthy diet. Moderation is key, and a scoop of your favorite frozen yogurt won’t deter you from your goals.
