Sleepaway Camp was one of my favorite things in summer. I loved everything this week when I spent my days to swim, swim and sleep under the stars.
One of my favorite things we did during the camp was the cooking fire dinner. We wrapped our pre -secured potatoes and hot dogs in foil, then thrown the package into the fire and let it cook it in the embers. Maybe that’s why I love the concept as an adult to cook food in foil. The method makes meals entertaining plus it is relatively hand-off without a lot of imprisonment.
Imagine, I was excited when I saw a foil package trick on Tikok, who used Ravioli, pasta sauce and broccoli? Of course I tried it! I thought about the technology.

How to make foil pack ravioli
If you are not familiar with foil pack Ravioli, a Viral Tiktok trendLet me explain. It begins to tear down a large piece of aluminum film, spray with a cook spray and then empty a 10 -unzen bag with chilled ravioli. From there, Marinara sauce, shredded mozzarella and a few handful of broccoli flowers (optional) are thrown into the filled pasta.
At this point the package is closed and baked at 350 ° F until the ravioli is cooked and the cheese has melted for 15 to 20 minutes. As soon as it is finished, the film will be unpacked to reveal the stack of cheeky, cheesy ravioli and broccoli. It is dusted with grated parmesan – and then it is up to you to decide whether you want to eat it directly from the film or in a “more civilized” way (reading: boring) on a plate.

Why I love it
You cannot exceed how easy this meal is to prepare or how easy it cleans up. For these two reasons alone, Foil Pack Ravioli is a dish that is worth preparing, especially on a week when time is tight. The ravioli comes tender with the cheese that has been perfectly melted.
The dish is also easily adapted and I have my family created their own packages. My daughter can have her cheese ravioli, and my husband and I can enjoy the pasta filled with mushrooms. I have designed the sauce, some other types of cheese, vegetables and other additions (my daughter loves cut pipperoncini and green olives) to add as you like.

My tips for the production of foil packs ravioli
- Use a large piece of film. Do not save on the film, otherwise you have to add another sheet to keep things safe. A large piece enables you to pull on the sides and prepare a decent bag that does not fall apart when transporting and to the oven. I found that an 18-time 12-inch piece is perfect.
- Not -steak spray is the key. Melted cheese is a sticky business, so generously spread the whole piece of foil with non -stick spray or with olive oil before adding the ingredients.
- Adjust! I love broccoli, but not necessarily paired with my ravioli. Fortunately, there are no rules about which vegetables you can use with foil package Ravioli. So choose your own adventure. Some ideas: artichoke hearts, sun -dried or fresh tomatoes, roasted peppers, spinach and diced summer urbis.
