I thought summer would slow down a bit, but it didn’t have at all. Between diving and sand volleyball practices and competition plus unexpected midnight visits to the emergency room, because the sand part entered the eye of a certain 15-year-old (luckily it is pretty good)-it was just as busy.
I should know better – I even expected that I had a little time to treat myself to my love for a leisurely cook. Although free time is not something, I can connect my summer plan, Aldi gave me the gift from Another time saver.

Why I love Aldi -Bremer Italian sausage with paprika
I picked out a mood because the package looked interesting and my family loved it. The Bremen Italian sausage with peppers is really a meal in a pocket. The 21 -unzen bag costs $ 5.79 and has four 1-cup portions.
However, the name is a bit of a wrong name, since it is not only Italian sausage slices and red and yellow paprika strips-is also full of potatoes and green beans.
The bag instructions called for the instructions to preheat the furnace to 450 ° F and then boil them for up to 25 minutes. That is 25 minutes and the preheat with the last 90 degree weather too long.
Instead, I only threw the package content into my air fryer and less than 20 minutes later I had a hearty meal ready to serve. Although I am sure that the oven cooking method would have led to crispy potatoes and juicy sausage slices, I am definitely in Team Air Fryer because it was a faster method, and my entire house has not heated up.
The sausages and vegetables are seasoned with onion powder, garlic powder and a hint of Italian spice, which gives it a hearty taste. The peppers added a hint of sweetness, but the star of the show was the Italian sausage slices. Their taste reminded me of the sausages that I used to buy in an Italian deli.
My son (who did not tell me about sand in his eye until midnight) said that he was surprised that the sausages tasted so good, but he thought the whole meal needed a little more, so I instructed him to warm up a Marinara sauce in the microwave. He poured his dish with the sauce and was pretty happy.
My husband and I were okay without the Marinara, but a hint of sauce is also nice if you prefer it. While most people eat this as donations for dinner or lunch, I think that it could also be a great brunch supplement. To the brunch I cut a little smaller, then into a baking dish and covered it with whisk eggs and cheese for a simple breakfast.
This freezer is not only delicious, it is also quite versatile.
