I love Halloween. I am a fan of creepy season and everything that goes hand in hand: decorating our front, baking of apple desserts, scary films and of course Halloween sweetness. When I grew up, I could never resist caramel apple. I thought it was great how the sour green apple sweeties were paired with the soft, sweet caramel. My mouth watered at the thought!
It took me a minute, but I finally found the adult version of this childhood favorite: Werther’s original caramel apple -soft chew. I have bought the caramels in recent years, and when I see them on the shelves, I know that my favorite season has arrived.

Werther’s original caramel apple -soft chewing are very soft caramels seasoned with a sour kick green apple. The combination is exactly right and immediately reminds me of the sucker version from childhood, only broken down to the best parts: the tough caramel and this bright apple tang. It is the perfect little pleasure when you need something sweet.
For the first time I tried a bag of caramel apple caramels because, although I love a caramel apple, I would never do it at home. I think that caramel is sticky and spirited and caramel apples bought in the shop can be a chaos to eat. These chewing promised the same cozy combination of a sour apple and butter caramel without excitement or cleaning up.
This candy is not that of her grandmother. It balances butter -like wealth with a sharp, spicy apple bite. This sharpness prevents the sweets from diving into excessive sweet areas.
