- Stanley Tucci divided a recipe for pasta with broccoli rabe on Instagram.
- The actor has teamed up with his mother to create the recipe that only uses a handful of ingredients.
- Ancestors, garlic, broccoli raven and pasta are the stars of this court and lemon to finish.
Stanley Tucci was discovered to film the sequel The devil wears Prada In New York City, but that didn’t stop him recently to go on Instagram and give us another beautiful, easy meal. Tucci puts his latest Italian dish with his mother in a video and together they make a simple dinner for one night or an evening with friends: pasta with broccoli raven.
The best thing is that this meal only uses a handful of ingredients: broccoli raven, anchovies, garlic, pasta and lemon. Brokkoli Rabe – or Cime de Rapa, as the Tuccis call it – is the heart of this court, which is usually made from orecchiette. (Stanley was all out of the little noodles, so interrupted the couple in a penne instead.)
After ensuring that they roll the Big night Star and his mother Joan tell the camera that they include their usual broccoli raven preparation and for the first time some anchovies. Then immerse yourself directly in the simple steps that bring this dish together.
The first step is to take the stems of the greens and cook them in salted water so that they are too soft for a few minutes. Then they added the Cime di Rapa, which looks like a leaf salad.
As soon as the Greens are withered, it removes the green and stems and adds the same boiling water in pasta. While Orecchiette is a traditional choice, you can exchange the short pasta you have when you try to avoid another trip to the shop.
After the pasta is al dente, everything goes into a pan with olive oil, garlic and anchovies. TUCCI throws the greens with the anchovies and garlic first and then throws the pasta. Ancestors are rich in omega-3s, so they are a good addition to this meal for both the nutrients and for the additional protein and taste.
TUCCI ends the dish by taking care of everything with an optional spray of bread crumbs to crunch.
If you don’t have or enjoy raven, Brokkolini ensures a good replacement. We have broccolini in a similar recipe-we-like garlic angle pasta with broccolini. This recipe includes goat cheese for a creamy note, but Parmesan would probably also be a good addition.
After trying your quick meal, Tucci asks his mother about her evaluation, which is bright. Both tuccis love the salty, tasteful addition to the anchovies and agree that the next time they add lemon peel for a little brightness. As Joan emphasizes: Lemon goes well with everything. And we think that this pasta dish also fits pretty well-so with something delicious and our best Caesar salad or garlic-butter-zucchini.
