Why do that?
- This simple brownie recipe only uses Nutella, eggs and flour.
- Expect Fudgy Centers with a characteristic, belly, shiny top – a classic brownie atmosphere with half the effort.
- Lift them with a vertebrae caramel, a few pieces of chocolate or chopped hazelnuts.
In my individual days I made weekly batches of almond butter brownies-one healthier, flour-free, sweet reward, which I would pack in my work packs every day. They are still a recipe, but when I wanted something easier, it led to an experiment with other nut butter.
I have achieved many successes (and failures) over the years, but a recipe that has passed the test of the time is my 3-ingredients Nutella Brownies. They are a simple, lenient chocolate dessert that ticks all the brownie boxes.
And it’s not just her simplicity that makes it something special – although this is certainly a big plus. I love how you turn a glass of everyone’s favorite chocolate hazelnut into fudgy, crispy squares that satisfy every sweet tooth. The best thing is that you come together in minutes with just three pantry base foods: Nutella, eggs and flour.

Tips to make my 3-content brownies
- Use a scale. I can’t emphasize that enough. If you don’t have a scale yet, let this be your sign to invest in one. It is much more precise and saves you a lot of time and problematic cleaning – not only for this recipe, but for all baking recipes in general.
- Use room temperature nutella. Make sure that your Nutella is at room temperature.
- Do not over mix. As soon as you have added the flour, mix until you are only combined to avoid over the development of the glut, which can make the brownies difficult.
- Step up to Ungrad early. Since these brownies are more fudgly side, the tooth test should show some moist crumbs and no fully clean toothpick. Baked it can dry out. So check the 17- to 18-minute brand to ensure that you get this perfect fudgy texture.
Simple brownie variations
The overall taste of this recipe is less traditionally chocolate -brownie and more chocolate -hazelnut spread. Exchange 3 to 4 tablespoons of flour for a deeper chocolate taste for cocoa powder (this is much easier to do).
I like to add a handful of dark chocolate pieces or chopped, roasted hazelnuts for the texture. To give this brownies a festive appearance and an additional taste, swirl hazelnut butter, caramel or sweetened cream cheese into the top of the dough.

Shoveling and measuring the Nutella and cleaning the measuring cups is the most difficult part of this recipe. Really. With a scale you can add everything in a bowl and minimize cleaning. To simplify the recipe, I add the ingredients by weight and volume. Choose your own adventure!
