My Favorite Costco Fall Find Is Finally Back

My Favorite Costco Fall Find Is Finally Back

  • Nuovo Pasta Pumpkin & Bats Ravioli is back at Costco and features festive pumpkin and bat shapes.
  • The rich filling combines mozzarella, Asiago, Parmesan and ricotta for a creamy, comforting taste.
  • Be sure to stock up every fall to enjoy the ravioli for Halloween and beyond.

I am an avid Costco shopper. For many things, I make the 40 minute round trip at least twice a month (in my opinion it’s the best place to buy frozen fruit and cheese). But I also love scanning the aisles for great seasonal items. And one of my favorites is finally back in stock –Nuovo Pasta Pumpkin and Bat Ravioli.

I first enjoyed these ravioli two years ago and have been happy to come back every fall since. Sometimes Costco releases a new product and I never see it again (I’m still hoping they bring back the Peruvian chicken I discovered two years ago!). And I almost missed those adorable joy pillows too! As my little daughter got “ready” to go grocery shopping, we didn’t get to Costco until around noon. It was busy. The aisles were crowded with people handing out samples and waiting for them, but also people just trying to do what I did, fill their carts and get out of there. I tried to be as efficient as possible, so I stuck to my shopping list and didn’t wander the aisles like I prefer to do. But when I realized I had missed something on my list, I had to turn around and strolled past the end cap that featured these adorable ravioli.

These ravioli come in a double pack with pumpkin-shaped ravioli made from orange dough and bat-shaped ravioli made from black dough. And they are probably the most delicious ravioli I have ever bought in a store. The filling is made from a mix of mozzarella, asiago, parmesan and ricotta and is super rich and creamy. So I stocked up (luckily I have enough freezer space!) so we can enjoy them for many months to come. I cut each package in half and put one in the fridge and the rest in the freezer. Like last year, we eat some when we carve pumpkins, and another packet on Halloween before we head out trick-or-treating. Who said we have to limit them to scary season? Not me!
