It is hardly falling, but I already enjoy Comfort Food season. While I like the fresh, light recipes of months with warm weather, I still long for the hearty, cozy dishes that are equipped with cooler temperatures. No surprise, soup is one of my favorite things that can be eaten to eat.
Nevertheless, I do not always have the time (or the desire) to commit myself to preparation, cooking and cooking that are required for most good soup recipes. Then I reach for a dose soup – I could add without a ounce.
If you have ever entered the corridors, you know how overwhelming experience can be: the sheer number of brands and varieties is enough to think about something else. In order to make this process better manageable, I asked four food professionals which brand of conserves they keep in their pantry – and everyone said the same thing.

The experts told me that this soup does justice to its name with an impressive selection of vegetables – including onions, carrots, corn, potatoes, celery and leek – with many herbs and spices. “It is thick, tasteful and full of protein on a plant base,” adds Fischer. “I love the earthy aroma of black beans, coupled with the vegetables. It fills and satisfactory without feeling difficult.”

It is also easy to dress up, explains Marris: “I like to add a lot of acidic cream, some fresh spring onions and a shot of hot sauce for the perfect bowl.”

Clarke says: “I like it with Avocado, a sphere of simple Greek yogurt and crushed cheese to make it a well-rounded meal or take a shower of the black beans with crushed tortilla chips and chopped fresh coriander.”
While this soup is great in itself, a food author told me that she can also play a supportive role in other meals. “With seven grams of fiber and nine grams of protein, it is hearty enough to shine solo, but it is also the perfect buddy for everything that is on my plate,” says Benshosan.
This favorite with cans does not have to be served as a soup. It is the perfect topper for baking potatoes, rice or even a burrito bowl. You will find this soup in most large grocery stores for around 4 US dollars per can. Looks like Amy’s black beans soup is a big old pot full of positive!
