  • This imitator recipe only uses five ingredients and takes about 10 minutes.
  • The homemade version is less sweet and skipped the flavored syrups from Starbucks.
  • The pumpkin cream toping is the most time-consuming step, but it’s worth it.

When it comes to seasonal Starbucks drinks, I can’t get enough of it, especially in autumn. As a pumpkin lover, the pumpkin spice and pumpkin cream are basically my cryptonite.

One of my favorite -ktok creators Bria Lemirande If she was a fellow bear lover when she came out with her version of a homemade pumpkin cream, I was immediately fascinated.

After her video had almost 2 million views, I knew that I had to try her Starbucks. But first I had to invest in a dairy chest. I bought an inexpensive Amazon handheld that I would like to use for future coffee preparations at home-and it worked great!

You only need five ingredients to produce this recipe: cold brewing coffee (I just bought, but you can also make your own), pumpkin puree, pumpkin spice spice, brown sugar and your favorite milk or milk alternative. I used oat milk like Lemirande in the video.

To prepare the cream, combine pumpkin puree, pumpkin peak spice, brown sugar and oat milk in a measuring cup or a medium bowl. Lemirande did not indicate any measurements in the video. Here are the quantities that worked well for me: for a portion I have 2 tablespoons of pumpkin puree, half a teaspoon of pumpkin spice spice, 2 teaspoon of brown sugar and about half a cup of oat milk. Make sure you taste it and adjust it based on your personal preference.

The longest part of the process was to be ashamed of the cream. It takes about five minutes for you to mix your ingredients with your milk chicken until you have a light and fluffy consistency.

As soon as the cream is where you want it, pour the cold brew into your desired cup or cup and pour your cream directly on it. Stir in and your drink is ready to enjoy!

The homemade pumpkin scream Cold Brew is also a healthier alternative to the Starbucks menu item, as it skipped the flavored syrups and holds the additional sugar to a minimum. For this reason, the taste was more pumpkin focus and less sweet. To give even more taste, mix in a few drops of vanilla extract. When someone who occasionally loves a sweet coffee drink, the brown sugar was enough for me!

In addition, this drink only took about 10 minutes, which is faster than the time you need to buy your coffee in a busy drive. Regardless of whether you are looking for something that is more convenient or a little healthier, the pumpkin cream -cold brew at home is easy and worth it. I am already planning when I can use my milk storm for other holiday drinks again!
