I’ve done this simple tea a few times. I am not sure if I had already shared this, but only 3 ingredients are 3 ingredients -dried Goji berries, dried red data and dried chrysanthemum lamps.
This preparation for sugar is good for health, especially if you want to maintain immunity. What is even more important nowadays is something with the pandemic and covid-19.
But it is also a pleasant brew – no cooking.
Everything you need are a handful of Goji berries (washed and soaked in water for 5 minutes), 3-5 large dried red data And a teaspoon of dried chrysanthemum flowers (These are the small flower heads, not the usual type to make Chrysanthemenee).
Put all the ingredients in a teapot and pour boiling water in. Let it sit for 10 minutes and voila, you have made a healthy tea without sugar. It has a natural sweetness from the red dates and goji berries. And as soon as you have drunk the entire tea, you can still add more boiling water for a second brew. As soon as that is drunk, I will eat the Goji berries and red data. I am not a big fan of eating chrysanthemums, so that’s the only part I put out.
Goji berries are fuller. They protect their eyes from degeneration and help them improve their immunity. They are also an advantage for their spleen and liver – they detoxify when filling blood and Qi. And they are easy to add to their diet. You don’t have to cook them in soups just to get their kindness.
Accordingly This research work“Goji berries have been used since ancient times to increase the longevity and the advantages of liver, kidneys and eyesight” and they contain “riboflavin, thiamine, nicotine acid and minerals such as copper, manganese, magnesium and selenium”.
It also protects the heart and has anti-aging effects and is particularly useful for people with diabetes. It also increases the antioxidant level in the body, improves the energy level, reduces cholesterol and blood sugar levels. Here you will find further research studies.
Goji berries are neutral from TCM. They work to improve Yin deficiency by nourishing the kidney, liver or humidification of the lungs and stomach.
How do you know if you have a Yin deficiency? You feel burned out and tired. Review is one of the culprits. But I also believe that we all feel more than ever.
Another kind of how I like to take my goji berries Put a teaspoon in my hot PU erh tea After eating. And yes, I eat the berries as soon as I drank the Chinese tea.
I also found a great Chinese TCM herb database while I wrote this blog post. Take a look at this. (And I love what the website looks like – neat and pretty!)
P/S: I have been doing the same old soup – water -cress soup – for a few months now, because it freezes well, so that there is not much to update in this regard. I was also busy with the business, so I didn’t experiment much in the kitchen. (I told you I start a podcast? Yes, that’s me!)
