Why do that?
- With only four ingredients and 10 minutes, easy Lemon Mousse delivers a chic dessert.
- Serve the creamy, spicy, light mousse as well as it is, change it with coverings or use it as part of other desserts.
- Enjoy the mousse immediately or make it ahead.
As a former bakery owner, I like to spend time in the kitchen to prepare a number of complicated soft pretzels or bake a complex layer cake for a friend’s birthday. In other cases, however, it was only about no-bake desserts with low lifts. This lemon mousse with four ingredients is one of these treats.
Every time I am after something light, lively and cooled factual, this simple, egg-free mousse with a creamy texture, balanced sweetness and a lively lemon taste.
A great make-a-hawead dessert
You can prepare this mousse in a few minutes and enjoy it immediately. However, the texture improves time in the fridge with schools. This means that this is also an excellent dessert for meetings, as they can prepare it days in advance. Make a batch when you carry out the menu preparation and save it in the fridge for up to three days. In this way you just have to pull out the dessert, snap a few spoons and everyone can dig in.
If you have leftovers, you can keep them in an airtight container in the freezer. Hold the mousse in the freezer for up to two months and let it thaw in the fridge before serving.

Opportunities to garnish and serve this simple lemon mousse
This simple mousse offers an empty canvas for a variety of side dishes and serving options. Here are some of my favorites:
- Add a dash of whipped cream or lemon curd via any portion (or both!).
- Garnish the top of the lemon mousse with crushed Graham crackers or shortbread cookies.
- Add fresh blueberries or raspberries or drizzle with a berry sauce.
- To really impress your guests, use fresh lemons as serving dishes. Cut the lemons into half and scratch the meat with a spoon. Fill every lemon half with mousse and let the mousse cool and set it before serving.

Other ways to use lemon mousse
- This lemon mousse can be served alone for a delicious dessert. However, you can also bring it to work in other ways. Here are some ideas if you want to get creative with it:
- Use it as a filling for a layered lemon.
- Make Mini no-bake cheese cake-inspired desserts by laying glasses in glasses with a Graham Cracker Cracker crumb Crust.
- Serve a shot via Angel Food Cake or Pound cake and combine it with fresh berries to get a more complex pleasure.
