Easy dirt pudding recipe
What I love the most about these worms in the dirt recipe is that I decide a simple homemade chocolate pudding about the species bought in the shop. It makes it a little less processed and a little healthy for the children (and it’s really easy to make!). The pudding is still just as creamy, chocolate and delicious as the version with which I grew up.
Collect your little helpers, network some cookies and enjoy making this treat together. It is one of these dessert recipes that are about the memories like the taste!
Recipe success tips and suggestions
- Slowly mix the milk into the dry ingredients until they are thoroughly combined without lumps. This helps that the sludge layer in its dirt pudding cups have the smoothest consistency.
- Let your homemade chocolate pudding cool down and use it completely before adding your crushed sandwich cookies and rubber rabbits. You can make the pudding layer in advance up to 2 days in advance and keep you cool until you are ready to assemble yourself.
- Have fun with the presentation! I usually serve these pudding cups in clear plastic cups or small glasses so that the “dirt”. You can also transmit this dirt pudding in safe cups in food and then place them into small flower pots (perfect for parties!)
- Add one or two rubber -like worm between the pudding and the cookie shear layers for a little surprise!
- Worms in dirt are ideal as individual pudding cups, But you could completely make a party plate and put together a large “dirt cake” in a little something or a 9 × 9 -inch pan.
- Switch off the sweets based on the season. Make mini-chocolate eggs and rabbit-shaped marshmallows for Easter, add more worms and candy pumpkins for Halloween or opt for spring or summer for rubber ray flowers!
