Come On Over: Backyard Grilling

In my rainy, Pacific northwest city, you know that summer is on the way on the first day to dust the cobwebs from the grill. Maybe people take the summer very seriously because of all the rain. From now on, my summer calendar is already filled with back yard grille invitations, with a number of sausages, herb salad and sacrifices promise.

Many of my friends follow the most informal approach of all. Her invitations say: “Byob and something to open the grill.” And that’s the beauty of the grill out. Whether chicken or fish, mushrooms, zucchini or corn, everything is a fair game for the grill. All you need to fill the meal are some simple sides, quick sauces and a selection of ice creams, and you have an almost immediate party.

In this special summer edition, recipes simply have everything you need to bring the party to your farm with ease and style. Grill expert and participant Mike Lang shares his best grill tips and three (simple!) Recipes, which they also look like a grill professional. According to Mike, “chicken halves are the only way to decide the best taste and juicy texture on the grill.” They also cook faster. If you have never cut a chicken in half, do not emphasize: a stable couple kitchen scissors (and Mikes great tips) do the job or just ask your supermarket butcher to tackle it for you.

Why is Broccolini Mike’s favorite vegetables to grill? “On the whole, most of the vegetables need culinary interventions before grilling. Zucchini has to be cut into slices. Sparly has to be peeled. The list continues. Broccolini is like me on a Saturday morning: ready to go.”

Sure, you can throw almost every old thing on the grill, but to master the art of the perfect Hamburgers is a task that every potential grill chef should approach. Start in the shop by buying the beef meat  butcher for burgers.

Easy sauces

Grilling is one of the easiest ways to taste the food delicious, but without one or two sauce there is no grill-out complete. Saucen are the perfect way to add all these grilled quality. You will also look and taste your food as if you were investing a lot of work, but our dirty little secret is that the best sauces are also the simplest.

Simple ice desserts

Sure, you could only take a few half gallons ice cream, chocolate syrup and sprinkles and call it a day (if this is your mood, we have recommendations for the best vanilla and chocolate ice cream that we can buy), but something tells us that you want to spray out a little more on behalf of the summer.
