Why do that?
- Broccoli cheddar creamy beans deliver in just 15 minutes of cozy, kitschy comfort – perfect for busy autumn nights.
- Five ingredients and pantry booklings add up to a complete meal with beans, vegetables and protein.
I only want to when autumn arrives is cozy. A cozy cup of hot tea, a cozy blanket, a cozy puzzle. This also applies to food. I just want to feel comforting, warming dishes that I can feel from my mouth to my toes – cluet, one -feders, roast and the like. The only problem? These dishes usually take time to cook and develop their flavors.
And while I am in a cozy state of mind in the autumn months, I am also busy. While the slow cooking of a pot roast can be a nice activity all day, I can’t always treat so much lazy kitchen time. This made me look for a dish that still feels comforting, filling and warm.
The dish is creamy beans. You only need a few pantry base foods and 15 minutes to make a bowl of goodness that you will warm up. I have made many variations, including Marry Me Beans, but this broccoli cheddar number is one of my favorites. I love the classic combination of broccoli and cheese, and they fit so well with white beans. It is also a full meal in a bowl.
You only need five ingredients (plus a little oil) and 15 minutes to make this dish from start to finish. They have protein from the beans and cheese and a beautiful dose of vegetables from the broccoli. Eat it as an IS or combine it with a little crispy bread, and dinner takes place in record time.

Simple upgrades
I love the simplicity of this court, but it is easy to delete the aromas a little without adding time. I often add one or two teaspoons of white miso to give the beans more Umami taste. In fact, I tend to add to all my beans Miso. Just try before adding salt as Miso is salty. My husband tends to add hot sauce to what is a firm movement.
Use more cheese (DUH) for cheese beans or exchange them for particularly sharp cheddar. I also like to add one or two teaspoons of Nutrition base, which gives a delicious post-like taste.
