The salmon recipe that I just can’t stop.
When Ben and I made a video for it Bang Bang Slachs Recipe to share on Instagram, we couldn’t stop eating it. And – OOPS – we noticed that we ate everything before I still have photos on the blog.
But that’s okay, because it gave me an apology to make it again. And again. And to be honest, I just can’t stop doing it because it’s so good!
- The recipe begins with my air fryerlachs bite as the basis that are Crispy, scaly and perfectly cooked. I would with honey and soy sauce for a sweet-careful combination that is irresistible.
- And then there is the Bang Bang sauce, which is adapted by my bang bang. Instead of using Mayo, my version uses Greek yogurt as a healthy exchange. (See why I’ve eaten it all the time lately?!)
- Put them together for juicy small salmon bites that you can eat as IS, stack in meal shells, reject with a salad or even do it in tacos (a la my bang bang shrimp tacos). This recipe is versatile!
As if all of this is not reason enough to sing his praise, the entire Shebang (Bang) only walks around 10 minutes close. Ten! Minutes!
Key ingredients
You can find the full list of ingredients in the recipe card below, but here are some notes that you should consider.
- Salmon. Use the central salmon and remove the skin. I am happy to ask the seafood switch to do this for me.
- olive oil. Avocado oil or another oil that you want to use for frying would also work. This helps the exterior of the Bang Bang Bang salmon bite crispy and golden.
- Honey. Or exchange maple syrup when you prefer it.
- Soy sauce. I use soy sauce with low sodium. Use Tamari for a gluten -free version.
- Spices. Paprika, garlic powder, kosher salt and black pepper.
- Bang bang sauce. Whisk Greek yogurt, sweet chili sauce and Sriracha. Simply!
- To serve. White or brown rice, edamame, avocado, cucumber, green onion and/or coriander.
What should serve with bang bang bang salmon
While I made this into a Bang Bang version of a salmon shell, you can also serve the salmon as a main course with one side. Here is inspiration.
