The $1.25 Dollar Tree So Good I Bought 4

The .25 Dollar Tree So Good I Bought 4

I’ve always approached large projects with a “do it all at once” attitude, which, if I’m honest, can be both a good and a bad thing. Last weekend, in what little free time I had, I decided to clean out our Lazy Susan corner closet. I then began a much-needed deep cleaning of several other cabinets and drawers.

Unfortunately, the next day I was still knee-deep in the pantry items scattered around my kitchen because one of the drawers had fallen off the rails. To fix it, we had to go to the hardware store, get out the power tools, and enlist my husband’s help 30 minutes before we went to a party. By Sunday evening, I had everything done: wiping down shelves, rearranging spices, throwing out expired items, and setting up a box for donations.

I felt so accomplished afterward, but when I stood back and admired my work, I realized that a clean kitchen is one thing, but one organized Kitchen is another. I still had to find a few clever solutions that would make my life easier. And so I ended up with four of these pretty, Storage container with gold rim from the dollar tree!

Why I love this Dollar Tree storage box

It’s small, elegant looking, and has a built-in handle at each end so it can be easily grabbed from high shelves or quickly pulled out of drawers. The thin gold trim along the top edge makes each box feel more elegant than the $1.25 price tag suggests. Measuring 3.75 inches wide, 5.5 inches high, and 7.9 inches long, they are ideal for small spaces and for storing small items that often get lost or buried in my pantry and drawers. The rectangular shape also makes it easy for me to nest them next to each other, side by side, or in rows. Its clean design (one of my favorite features when designing storage containers) makes it easy to see the contents.

In my Lazy Susan, they have a stack of spice packets and blends arranged in a neat, visible row so I can easily find what I need. I also put another one to work that contains my large collection of extracts and food colorings. I can also imagine them being helpful for tea bags, hot chocolate packets, coffee pods, or things like spice packets.

Outside the kitchen, they are an excellent aid in a craft drawer, bathroom cabinet, or for grouping makeup. Even my kids’ rooms could benefit from this. Of course, the prerequisite is that the small toys and art supplies stay where they belong. If you think, “I don’t need another container” – trust me, you do. And this cutie from Dollar Tree is calling your name.
