The beginning of your day with oats is a great way to keep the blood sugar level in check and feel satisfied all morning. A good way to bring your oats to light and early is to prepare a few oatmeal the evening before so that a simple breakfast is waiting in the fridge when you wake up. It turns out that the actor Zooey Deschanel starts her morning with oats overnight, and the recipe is incredibly easy.
The New girl Star appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show Some time ago she taught Barrymore how she can make her overnight recipe. “Here are your oats,” says Deschanel when you set up the recipe. “It’s so easy, we can’t call this cooking, ok?”
Deschanel makes them in lid mason glasses overnight with ingredients that they have probably already sat in their pantry and fridge. “I use almond milk, but you can do coconut milk, normal milk or whatever you want,” she says. “This is yogurt. You can also do any kind of yogurt you want -vegan yogurt, normal yoghurt, Greek yogurt … and then we have ahorn syrup about your taste and chia seeds.”
We love how versatile deschanel is overnight recipe, especially since you can subdue in any kind of milk or yogurt you have on hand. Simply combine about 1 cup of oats with 1 cup of milk of your choice and then add about ¼ cup of yoghurt and a splash of maple syrup as well as a tablespoon of chia seeds and a large spoon of nut butter. Also open to interpretation? The type of nut butter that you throw in your glass. Deschanel goes for peanut butter, but realizes that almond and cashew are also delicious.
“Then you will basically put on the top and just shake it as if you are going to make butter because you really want the Chia -seeds, especially not, no longer be excited,” explains Deschanel. “You just put it in the fridge and leave it overnight. You don’t have to cook it or something.”
After Deschanel Hafer left in the fridge overnight overnight, they are ready to eat.
