According to the company’s website, TRU FU has announced a recall of four of its products that are sold nationwide at various retailers. This is due to foreign matter pollution.
The following Tru -Fru products are called back, online and at retail locations such as Albertson, CVS, Food Lion, Heb, Hungryroot, Ingles Markets, Kroger, Stew Leonard’s and Target sold in the USA:
- Tru Fru Freezer dried strawberries in dark and white chocolate (3.4 ounces) with UPC 850048358270
- Tru Fru Freezer dried strawberries in dark and white chocolate (1.7 ounces) with UPC 850048358331
- Tru Fru Freezer dried strawberries in dark and white chocolate (13 ounces) with UPC 850048358379
- Tru Fru Freezer dried strawberries & crème (3.4 ounces) with UPC 850048358249
