Cake Mix Cookies Recipe (3 Ingredients)

Cake Mix Cookies Recipe (3 Ingredients)

Baking can be overwhelming – and I say this as a busy parent who also has a degree in baking and pastries. You often need at least half a dozen ingredients to make even the most basic cookies, and things can be crazy very quickly if you want to include your children.

Maybe that’s why I’m so deeply in love with the biscuit mix. Cake blends are a miraculous abbreviation for bobsmith, but I recently learned how to turn my favorite mixtures into damp, delicate cookies. All you need are your favorite cake mixture, butter and eggs.

These cookies with threads are an ideal hack for a simple baking sale or a treat in the classroom and are endlessly adaptable to all cake mixtures and baking of extras.

The best cake mix for cookies

The recipe below is for a confetti version of Cake Mix -cookies, because Strussel is a little more fun (this is also my family’s current favorite cake taste). However, you can produce cake mix cookies with any taste of cake mixtures in the range of 15 ounces.

We used red Velvet cake mixture for happy red cookies during the holidays or Devil’s Food Cake Mix for powdered sugar ceiling biscuits that are rich and decadent. My mother -in -law loves a version with a lemon cake mixture that tastes quite damn near a lemon bar.

Ingredients for mixing cakes

As soon as you have your cake mix in your hand, you only need two more essential ingredients to make the biscuit dough: 2 large eggs and a rod with melted butter. I played around to make them with oil (you need 1/2 cup), but the moisture and the taste of the butter really cannot be beaten.

Cake Mix Cookie -upgrades

There are some ways to improve biscuits -mix cookies:

  • Add your cookie dough chips. White pieces of chocolate in red velvet or confetti, dark pieces of chocolate in devil dinner or butter scotch chips in yellow cake mixtures work wonderfully. A cup of chips is perfect for a batch.
  • Roll the cookies in a coating. Sprinkle are the point for confetti biscuits, but cinnamon sugar is excellent with a yellow cake mix. Or roll the cookies in powdered sugar for a crinkle biscuit effect. Simply make sure that you cool down the clover-healed cookies with powdered sugar for 20 minutes.
  • Top with nuts, sprinkles or chopped chocolate. You can do this instead or in addition to interfering! It is a great way to give variety to a single stack of cookies.

(Keep your screen awake)

  • 1 (15.25– –ounce) Box Funfetti Cake mixture

  • 1 stock unsalted buttermelted

  • 2 large Egg

  • 1/2 cup Rainbow sprinkleTo roll, optional

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 ° F.

Set line 2 baking sheets with parchment paper and aside.

  2. Combine the ingredients and the proportion of the dough:

Combine the cake mixture, melted butter and eggs in a large bowl. Use a stable spatula to mix completely smoothly. Use a medium-sized biscuit shovel or a frequent tablespoon to reduce the dough into 1 1/2 tabl hibles that are at least 2 inches apart on the prepared baking trays. You should be able to fit about 10 cookies per baking sheet. Roll every biscuit in sprinkles before returning it to the baking sheet.

  3. Bake:

Bake the cookies until they inflated for 10 to 14 minutes, set it. Transfer the cookies into a rust to cool completely.

Remaining cookies can be kept in an airtight container for up to 3 days. They can become less tender after this point in time, but they are still safe to eat.
