Sesame dressing
This sesame dressing offers your homemade salads fresh and bright taste! The recipe is easy to whip with sesame oil, soy sauce and lime juice. The recipe gives about half a cup.
- If you use the optional sesame seeds, put them in a small pan over medium heat and cook them frequently until you start to become golden, about two to three minutes. Take off the stove.
- Combine sesame oil, Tamari, lime juice, 2 teaspoons in ginger, garlic, mustard, optional red pepper flakes and optional roasted sesame seeds in a liquid meal or a small bowl.
- Whisk until the mix is well mixed. Taste, and if the taste is not quite there yet, whisk the smallest pinch of salt. If you want a stronger ginger taste, now mix the additional teaspoon.
- This dressing can be served immediately, but the flavors are even better after twenty minutes. Store the fridge in the fridge for up to 1 week.
Notes
Make it gluten -free: Be sure to use gluten -free Tamari instead of conventional soy sauce.
In a hurry? You can simplify this dressing by skipping the sesame seeds, garlic and ginger. You will still end with an aromatic dressing.
