Simple recipe for grilled peaches and cream
Peaches quickly cook on the grill, which makes this dessert one of my favorites for warm evenings, where I don’t want to spend much time in the kitchen. Your natural sweetness carameled nicely on the grill and combined with a ball of ice cream and a few simple pantry booklets the perfect way to end the day. The peach season is late until early autumn, so pack it when you see them! This slightly grilled peach dessert always feels like a treat, although it requires hardly any effort.

How to take grilled peaches and cream -colored photos
Collect all of your ingredients and heat the grill to 400 ° F.
Prepare the peaches: Carefully cut 4 peaches from top to bottom, turn the halves apart and remove the pit. When the pit is persistent, use the tip of your knife to get it out gently.
Brush every cut side of the peach with a total number of ½ tablespoon and put them aside.
Grill the peaches: If your grill is nice and hot, put the peaches and cut the page down on the grids. Spread the rounded tops with the remaining ½ tin oil and grill for 3-4 minutes until it forms soft and grill tracks.
Turn over the peaches: Use the kitchen pliers to carefully turn the peach. If you stay light, you can use a spatula or fork to leave you free from the grill. Then combine ½ teaspoon cinnamon and 2 tablespoons of sugar in a small bowl. Sprinkle the cinnamon sugar evenly over the peach.
Grill the peach for another 3-4 minutes until the sugar melts. As soon as melted and the peach is softened, remove them from the grill.
Surcharge: Now share the peaches on 4 plates or bowls. Serve immediately with a ball of vanilla ice cream, chopped walnuts (a total of ½ cup) and ½ tablespoon of honey each. Enjoy!
- Your peaches are ripe if you have a sweet aroma and easily give in for gentle pressure when pressing. Grill not excessively mature peach or they become mushy.
- This simply grilled peach and ice cream recipe also works in a grill pan on the stove If you don’t have an indoor or outdoor grille.
- Make sure your grill is preheated before grilling, clean and hot. Otherwise, the peaches can stick if they try to turn them around. You can use a spatula or fork to carefully skim off the peach from the grill if you turn around when you stick.
- Avoid sprinkling the grill with the cinnamon sugar mixture when you occupy the peaches. The grids will probably burn and leave them with additional scrubbing to do later!
- Feel free to use other nuts next to walnuts. Pistachios, almonds and even peanuts would be great. Use what you have!
- I drove the dessert with a small honey for additional sweetness and depth, but you can leave it out if you want. You can also try maple syrup or agave.
How to serve grilled peaches and cream
If you have fresh mint or basil at hand, add a few leaves to your grilled peaches and cream before serving a little fresh taste! Sometimes I even add a small scatter of salt for a salty sweet dessert. As for the ice, I usually stay with classic vanilla ice cream, but caramel, cinnamon, butter pecanny or bourbon ice cream would be fantastic here. If you want a somewhat less sweet option, try these grilled peaches with our homemade frozen yogurt and a dash of balsamic glaze or a diligence for even more crunch.
Grilled peaches are best served directly from the grill, but if you have extras, cut them up and add them to your oat moisture the next morning – like a pleasure!
