The 1-Minute Tomato Sandwich I’m Making All Summer Long

Why do that?

• If tomatoes are at its peak, a tomato sandwich cannot be beaten.
• If you use Boursin cheese, you don’t need to need spices as salt and pepper.
• The sandwich only takes a minute to build on toast.

It naturally feels to share My Favorite -tomatoes -Sandwich when you consider that they may already have their own. And I will definitely not say that mine is one classic Tomato -sandwich, the soft, white bread and a generous avarice of mayonnaise.

But if you come to the tomato sandwich party too late-I grew up in the middle west on PB & JS-I think this is a delightful place to start: roasted whole grain bread, a smear of herbal cheese and two thick slices of salt-and popper tomatoes.

The built -in taste of Boursin eliminates the need for additional decorations, so that the entire sandwich takes only one minute. It is a chaotic, wonderful way to celebrate sweet summer tomatoes, whether you enjoy it in the morning or a simple dinner without cooking. Let us go into it:

The best tomatoes for tomato sandwiches

This is the namesake of our sandwichs, so there are a few non-negotable-sie need a juicy beefsteak tomato (either an inheritance or hybrid), which is approximately the width of your bread. My favorite bread for tomato sandwiches

My loaf of choice is a whole grain or multigrain sandwich bread with many seeds. This not only adds texture and nutheit, but also the way I have most likely at hand. I just like it so roasted that it is currently roasted so that it is unable to cut the sandwich, but not so much that it crunches like a crouton.

How to build a 1-minute tomato sandwich

Put your bread in the toaster so that it can get started. Then take your biggest cutting board both for cutting and assembly:

Cut your tomato with a jagged knife the same thickness as your bread, about 1/2 inches. You need two fat slices per sandwich. Season both sides with kosher or measurement and freshly ground black pepper.

Next comes the Boursin, which is a garlic shower cheese for those who are unknown, which has an irresistible cream-fragile texture. It is also wrapped in gold foils, which makes you feel chic.

Spread a heaped tablespoon on one side of each disc disc of still warm toast. It will melt like butter – another advantage of toast. Spread it on the edges so that it creates an effective barrier between the toast and the juicy tomatoes.

At the top of a piece of toast with the stacked tomato slices – this ensures a much more pleasant eating experience than overlapping windows. Close the sandwich and cut it with the same jagged knife with a slow saw movement in half so that nothing can be done.
