The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) announced an active callback to several Ritz Cracker products that were sold in grocery stores in the USA This is due to a wrong task, which leads to an unregulated allergen.
The products that are called back include the eight-count pack, 20 packs and 40 packing boxes from Ritz Peanut Butter Cracker-Sandwiches and the 20-story box with a Ritz-filled cracker sand variety.
“The affected boxes include individually packaged packs, which may be incorrectly marked as cheese variety, although the product may be a peanut butter variety,” writes the FDA in the recall display. “People with allergy or severe sensitivity to peanuts can risk serious or life -threatening allergic reactions by eating this product.”
