This Greek yoghurt fruit dip is everything I want in a quick and simple pleasure: creamy, but light and just sweet enough without being overwhelming. The yogurt gives it a smooth and lively base, while the slide pack adds a fluffy texture that I just love. And everything that makes my children happily eat a plate of fresh fruit is always a win in my book. 😉

Trying variations!

This recipe for fruit dip is deliberately simple. I like the subtle sweetness and how the taste of everything they serve to serve. But that does not mean that you can’t get mixed up and try something else! Here are some variations that I think could work well:

  • Use an aromatized Greek yogurt (such as raspberry or strawberry) to switch the taste and add a little color. I would adapt the powdered sugar to the taste here, depending on the taste selected!
  • Use a different taste extract like almond extract
  • Stir some orange, lemon or lime shell for a little zing!
  • Sprinkle some cinnamon or nutmeg (this would be great for autumn, especially if they are served with apple slices)
  • Mix chocolate chips (any type) or sprinkles
  • Add peanut butter for a nutty taste (I would start with 1-2 tablespoons and add more to the taste)
  • Try to make it milk-free by using your favorite milk-free Greek yoghurt and your whip puppet
  • Do you want the protein content up? Make our honey vanilla cottage cheese fruit dip and serve both options at your next meeting!
  • Grapes, blueberries, strawberries and apple slices as in the photos here!
  • Panel and mango pieces
  • Cantaloupe, watermelon or honeydew melon slices
  • Cut bananas, raspberries or kiwi slices
  • Graham Crackers
  • Books (my family loves Nilla Wafer and homemade chocolate biscuits)
  • Pretzel
  • Stored with muesli and fruit choice
  • Served with our red, white and blue fruit salad for July 4th

The key is to keep it fresh and funny. So mix and adapt to all fruits or treats that you have on hand.

Storage instructions

All remnants last about 3-4 days in an airtight container in the fridge. However, this can vary depending on the freshness of its Greek yogurt and the whip pups, so that their exact mileage can vary.
