For the sugar cane crust:

  • All -purpose unbleached flour -You can exchange a gluten-free 1: 1 flour to make this a gluten-free fruit pizza recipe.
  • baking powder – helps the sugar cek to “crust”.
  • Salt – Improves the overall taste.
  • Ground cinnamon – for a warm, cozy taste.
  • Sugar – – I use a combination of granulated and brown sugar.
  • Unsalted butter – Be sure to use unsalted butter because we add our own salt to the dough.
  • protein – White alone still bind the ingredients with each other while the fat content is reduced.
  • Unsweetened apple sauce – We can get away with less butter by exchanging apple sauce.
  • Vanilla extract – If you want, you can use half a vanilla extract and half an almond extract.
  • White pieces of chocolate or chopped white chocolate – I tried these fruit pizza with and without white chocolate and liked it better. But if you are not a fan, you can leave it out and slightly increase the sugar. (The recipe below and the nutritional information contains white chocolate.)

For the icing:

  • Cream cheese – I use 1/3 less fat cream cheese for an easier option. Let this softer before you start.
  • Sugar powder – also known as a confectioner sugar.
  • Vanilla extract – gives the icing a nice taste. Use pure vanilla extract, no imitation.

Tips and variations

These additional information and variations will help you ensure that your fruit pizza shows perfectly.

  • Add water if necessary. If the dough feels crumbly after combining the wet and dry ingredients, you can insert more water each until it comes together.
  • Not baked. You want a soft, tough crust for fruit pizza. So don’t let them leave them in the oven too long. The edges should just start becoming golden brown.
  • Make them in advance. You can make the sugar ceiling crust in advance one or two days in advance; The icing will also take a few days in the fridge. You can also freeze and cool the crust up to 2 days in advance, but I do not recommend adding the fruits until the day you serve.

Correct storage

With the fresh fruit and cream cheese topping, this fruit pizza is best stored in the fridge. Keep it in an airtight container to keep it fresh for 3 to 4 days (depending on the fruits you use).
