Simple recipe for strawberry cake -smoothie
This smoothie tastes just like strawberry base cake, except that it is Away Whole and something I feel good when I sip at any time of the day. The cottage cheese makes it super creamy and adds a small cheesecake-like cone, while the frozen banana and strawberries give it the perfect thick, frosty texture. And while the toppings are optional, I will be honest … I never skip them. A small whipped cream and crushed cookies over it? You take this healthy breakfast smoothie and give it very quickly like a dessert in a cup. 😉
Do you know these bananas in the sales car in the grocery store with all brown spots and freckles? Buy and freeze them! Not only are they incredibly cheap, they are also completely ripe and sweet, ready for one of their smoothies and banana bread needs.

**You will not use the entire whipped cream to surpass these smoothiesSo I recommend that the rest in dolls in Puppet to use parchment to use later … or hey, grab a spoon! I will not say it! I didn’t cut the recipe any further because it was too little liquid for the hand mixer to turn into whipped cream.

How to freeze fresh fruit
I mentioned earlier that I bought and frozen bananas from the sales car. This is one of my favorite methods to reduce food waste and save a little money while working on smoothie booklet. This is exactly where I freeze fresh fruit to keep things quickly and easily when a smoothie request comes:
- Wash, peel and cut larger fruit pieces (e.g. bananas) in a uniform size so that they later mix more easily.
- Place the pieces on a baking sheet. I try not to touch them too much so that they do not freeze into a big lump.
- Freeze until firmly.
- Transfer to a freezer or a container. I know mine with the date and keep them in my freezer until I am ready to mix myself.
You can freeze almost all fruits, including avocados (I love an avocado -smoothie!). I also recommend mixing and fitting different frozen fruits to make smoothie packs with all kinds of fun aromas.
- Try different fruits. To change the cheesecake taste in this smoothie, exchange the frozen strawberries for frozen raspberries, cherries, mango, blueberries or other fruits they like.
- Add a nutritioner. You can definitely add a few chia seeds, ground flax seeds or your favorite vanilla protein powder for an additional hits from kindness. Just remember that these additions can change the taste and texture of this strawberry cheese cake -Moopie recipe.
- Make it a smoothie bowl. I would use a little less milk to keep it thick, then pour them into a bowl and stack them on cover such as muesli, cut fruits or coconut flakes.
- Sweet to the taste. I think this smoothie is much sweet enough, especially if you add the whipped cream to topping. But if your bananas were not super ripe when they froze them (the brown they are, the sweeter his smoothie!) Or you have a big sweet tooth, you are welcome to taste in honey, maple syrup, agave or brown sugar.
- Transform it in ice on the stem! This smoothie recipe is best served, while it is still thick and frosty. However, if you have leftovers, you can freeze them in ice on the stem to make some smoothie ice cream on the stem. I think that would be a super funny, child -friendly snack for a hot day!
- Good cottage cheese? Don’t let it waste! Take a look at our “An ingredient, five ways – cottage cheese” YouTube videoWhere I share 5 of my preferred, simple recipes to consume it (I do this smoothie in the video so that you can see it in action and put it together with me!)
