This is the Best Grocery Store Cake—It Tastes Homemade

I am cursed with a special “problem”: one of my best friends and closest employees is a confectioner.

Your specialty? The most beautiful cakes I have ever seen, with interesting and unexpected aromas, which are decorated with edible flowers from their organic garden. It colored the icing with natural feed dyes, which it produces from herbs and fruits. They are works of art from the outside.

If I now have to pick up a cake from the grocery store on the way to a family meeting, I am overwhelmed by the options. I can’t stand the artificial colors, flavors and the difficult sweetness. I stand in front of the bakery section, sighed and step back with a less dessert dessert.

I finally decided that enough was enough. I told my husband that we would stand up to a challenge: to try as many food cakes as necessary until we found those who met our high standards. He courageously agreed and we went on our mission.

Here is the cake bought in the shop, which we agreed, was by far the best.

Simply recipes / whole foods

The best shift cake for sale

Based on our comprehensive (and delicious) research, the winner is Castle food Berry Chantilly Cake. The cake became famous for its cult -like commitment viral last year, when Whole Foods tried to change the recipe and bumped from his legions of fans with pushback.

I was skeptical and I was skeptical with an award-winning confectioner but this cake has proven the opposite. I always reached for another bite. The cakes and the Chantilly cream are both light, with a weak taste of almond, which fits the berries wonderfully.

One of my pet animals about grocery store is that the amount of cake often gives too much butter cream sugar effusion. This disc was perfectly balanced, and the fresh berries that were occupied by the middle layer Chantilly cream made every bit delicious.

The cake has a spacious set of simple mixed berries. No food dyes or false flavors here! The choice of Whole Foods was not only chosen for me to garnish a box, but the juice from the berries that were softened by the cake was the perfect acidity to cut the sugar.

We ended the last disc and looked at each other. Time to get another cake.
