4-Ingredient Chicken Pot Pie Recipe

Chicken cake is one of my favorite food for cold weather. Only the smell of a chicken cake baking gives me the same feeling of sliding a favorite sweater over my head or sitting in front of a fire with my cozy socks. However, getting enough steps from the desire for chicken cake to a golden, enlarged chicken cake in real life, which I almost never take for myself. That means until recently.

In my desire for a quick and simple recipe, which was still scratching this chicken pate-itded, I channeled my mother, the queen of quick and simple dinner. She would go out of work at 5 p.m., pick me up and my sisters from my grandmother’s house and eat it at the latest at 6:30 a.m. And she did every night for years.

Make the chicken pot pie much easier

I wondered what would Teresa (my mother) put a chicken cake on the table in about half an hour? Teresa would not make a crust from scratch, nor would she cut carrots and celery into pretty little cubes. Instead, she would probably snap a crust and a bag of frozen vegetables from the grocery store. Since Rotisserie -Hühner are now available and affordable, it would probably only snap one of them.

I don’t remember a glass of Alfredo sauce that is ever shaped on the shelves of our home pairing chamber. However, it seemed perfect for the creation of the rich sauce for the chicken pot pie. I prefer its taste to many of the “Creme of” soups that find their way into countless casseroles.

The result is a full, cheeky, cozy main course with a shaking crispy and scaly crust, which delivers the quality of chicken pot cake in about 45 minutes, most of which is the baking time.

Tips for the production of my 4-intrordant cake cake

  • More crust: If you like a lot of crust with your chicken pot pie, thaw two puff pastry leaves and bake the second sheet on a sheet metal pan next to the pot cake (it is not necessary to roll out the puff pastry at all). Serve it with the pot cake – you can cancel pieces as desired.
  • Rotisserie -Huhn: If you use a rotisserie chicken for this recipe, you get both breasts the perfect amount of meat. If there are delicious juices in the bottom of the rotisserie chicken packaging, add them to the pot pie.
  • Glide it: For a nice shine on the top of your pot cake, brush it before you are beaten with an egg with 1 tablespoon of water.

Cooking mode

  • 2 1/2 Cup or seasoned rotisserie chicken or others cooked chicken

  • 1 (16-Ounce) glass Alfredo sauce

  • 2 Cup Frozen mixed vegetables

  • 1 Blatt F.Oen Pale dough thawed

  1. Make the filling:

    Combine the chicken, the Alfredo sauce and the vegetables in a 10-inch ovenproof pan. Put 1/4 cup of water in the Alfredo sauce glass, screw the lid and shake, then add to the chicken mix. Bring to a boil over medium heat and cook for about 3 minutes.

  2. Cover with pastries:

    Roll out the puff pastry on a slightly floured worktop, so that it is just large enough to cover the top of the pan with a small overhang. Drape the puff pastry over the pan and cut 4 slots so that the steam is vented.

  3. Bake:

    Bake until the puff pastry is golden brown and the filling bubbles for 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool for a few minutes before serving.
